Katherine Ireland ’09

Katherine Ireland has had a career that has spanned a variety of investment styles and stages. Her curiosity has led her to invest over the last decade across a wide range of industries, geographies, and investment types. She currently serves as a Non-Executive Director at Onyx Insight, a leading predictive maintenance platform focused on the wind industry and owned by BP. She spent 2020 acting for UK Government Investments, owned by the UK Treasury, to help manage the UK government’s covid-related corporate and small business investment and lending facilities. She has previously worked with Sprints Capital Management, a later stage venture capital and growth equity firm based in London and investing in technology enabled companies globally and with Palamon Capital Partners, a pan European growth equity firm, focusing primarily on investments in fintech and digital consumer platforms. Prior to that, she was part of the founding team of the London office of Centerbridge Partners, a New York based $20bn credit and private equity platform. She began her career at Goldman Sachs International in M&A. Ms. Ireland has an MBA from Harvard Business School, and a BA in Economics and History magna cum laude, Phi Beta Kappa, from Williams College, Massachusetts.
