Paul Isaac, ’72
Paul Isaac was a Political Economy major and lived at CDE 1971-72. He was a Thomas J. Watson Fellow (1972-73) in Chile, Costa Rica and other Latin American countries. In 1974 he started at Allied International American Eagle Trading Corporation, industrial metal products traders, as an economics research and trading trainee. In 1976 Paul joined the securities industry with Mabon Nugent& Co and worked in a number of capacities with successor firms. In 1999 he became Chief Investment Officer at Cadogan Management, a hedge “fund of funds” and in 2001 he added responsibilities as portfolio manager and proprietor of Fort Hoosac Management, an investment partnership. He serves on several for-profit and non-profit boards.
