William R. Loomis, Jr. ’71

Bill Loomis was part of Williams in India in 1969-70. He lived in the CDE during his senior year and took all the CDE courses. Following a Watson Fellowship in Asia he earned an MBA at Harvard Business School. Bill’s professional career began with two years in Korea with Citibank prior to joining Lehman Brothers and then Lazard for three years in Hong Kong. He became Head of Banking, Chief Operating Officer and then CEO of that firm prior to graduate studies at the University of California in history. Bill is now an independent financial advisor to boards.
