Yvonne Hao ’95 (Chair)
Yvonne Hao is a Williams trustee emeriti, and served as a trustee from 2005-2017. After graduating from Williams, Yvonne attended Cambridge University, England on a Herschel Smith Fellowship, and completed a Master’s in Philosophy in Development Economics. She then worked at McKinsey & Company, and led a pro-bono project called Vital Voices, supporting women leaders in developing countries. Following that, she held several roles at Honeywell, including VP of Global Marketing and GM of a ~$1.7B division. Yvonne also spent 8.5 years at Bain Capital, and was an Operating Partner and took on interim operating roles across several portfolio companies. She then became the CFO/ COO of an ecommerce pharmacy startup, PillPack, and helped lead the sale to and integration with Amazon. Most recently, she’s been a Managing Director and Co-founder at Cove Hill Partners, a new investment firm with ~$2.5B AUM. She is on a public company Board, Gentherm, where she chairs the Comp Committee and serves on the Audit and M&A committees. She’s also serves on two other nonprofit Boards: Beth Israel Lahey Health System (where she is Vice-chair and also chairs the Finance Committee), and the Commission on Presidential Debates.
Her most recent work focuses on global governance and the international financial institutions, women’s empowerment and its relationship to reproductive choices, and the financing of global public goods for development.
