You can reach the the on-call physician at 413-597-2206 (follow the prompts) if you have an urgent medical concern that cannot wait until the next business day (Note: If you’re calling after hours, an operator will take your message and have the on-call physician call you back. If you do not hear back from the physician within 30 minutes, please call again.)

As noted above, if this is a life-threatening emergency, contact CSS at (413) 597-4444, or call 911. If it is not life-threatening, but you are experiencing an urgent psychological crisis, call IWS at (413) 597-2353 and select option 2 to speak to the on-call clinician.

If there is a building concern that cannot wait until the next business day (no heat, no electricity, clogged toilet, leaks, etc.), contact CSS at (413) 597-4444. They will investigate the situation and will alert an on-call technician if necessary.

If it is not an emergency, write to CDE staff and we will follow up with facilities during business hours the next day.
